Let us know you've sponsored a child

In this world, with all the pain and suffering that people are causing towards one another, we must remember one of the most important teachings of Jesus Christ: the way we treat the children of the world.

Mark 10:13-16

¹³People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. ¹⁴When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. ¹⁵I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." ¹⁶And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.

A child is, and should be, an innocent. They are to be protected, cherished, and given every opportunity to grow into their life in God's grace.

Unfortunately, there are many children in the world that do not have this opportunity. They may live in an area where war threatens their lives daily. They may not have clean water to drink, or schools to learn in, or medicine when they are sick.

We cannot let this happen to these children. This is why HisFaithful.com is requesting that you visit the website of the Christian Children's Fund or World Vision International, and sponsor a child today.

To make this clear, HisFaithful.com is not affiliated with the Christian Children's Fund or World Vision International in any way. We are child sponsors ourselves, but we do not receive any money at all from CCF or WVI for making this plea for help.

The Christian Children's Fund provides support and opportunity for more than 43,000 children. This is a wonderful effort, but at the same time, shows that so much more can be done. If only 43,000 people around the world are providing sponsorship for these children, how many more are still on the list, waiting for help?

As a Christian, it is your duty to protect these children, to show them the love and the grace of God. It is your duty to give these children a chance to have clean drinking water, to get an education, and to have access to medicine when they are sick.

Go to the website on the right for the charity in your country, and read about the work they do. Read what your money will provide. Then go to the sponsorship page, and find a child in the world to sponsor. There are many, many children in need.

This doesn't cost much. In the US, currently, the cost is only $24 a month. Most people spend more than this on coffee. This is a commitment. You will sponsor your child for years to come, and you will receive reports on your child, letters from them, and you may even choose to visit them in their country to see how they're doing.
